AB 506 Live Scan Fingerprinting opportunities
in Pacifica District
As you are recruiting this fall, you’ll undoubtedly have new adult leaders joining, and they need do each of the following steps related to protecting our youth:
- Safeguarding Youth Training: https://www.scouting.org/training/youth-protection/
- Mandated Reporter Training: Training – California Scouting
- AB 506 Live Scan fingerprinting (only after their Mandated Reporter Training is complete). The council has the ability to provide this live scan service for free. You just need to set up an appointment at the Council Service Center (Monday through Friday) to take care of it.
However, as an additional help, and only for a short time, there are some dates and times when a Council representative will be available in our neighborhoods to take care of this for you and your leaders.
