About the Pacifica District!
Pacifica District serves the Southern California Communities of Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Costa Mesa and Newport Beach.
The district is serves Scout units that enjoy camping, hiking, cycling, backpacking, rock climbing, skiing, snow boarding, horseback riding, and water sports of all kind. Scouts learn through fun, interactive activities that emphasize camaraderie, teamwork, and leadership skills. All levels of Scouting, beginning at the age of 6, are age based and grade related.
Volunteers from the district avidly supports and staff council events such as the University of Scouting, Cub Day Camp, National Youth Leader Training, and special projects.
Additionally, the district earnestly supports the Scouting for Food and BSA National Popcorn Sales program. We traditionally run a Boy Scout Camporee and a Webelos Camperall once a year with an average attendance of about 350 boys each. Our District Training Committee offers a full spectrum of classes to adult leaders.
The district strives to deliver a quality program for boys, with trained adult leadership, supported by an incredible professional staff. If you would like more information on Pacifica District or the Boy Scouts of America, please contact one of our district professionals.
