Complimentary Membership For New Scouts
Great news! The Orange County Council of Scouting America is offering COMPLIMENTARY 2026 membership to all new Scouts ages 5–17. (Unit dues are separate.)
Invite new families to scan the QR code on the flyer and complete the short inquiry form. They’ll receive personalized guidance on nearby units and how to finish registration.

We Are Sailing...
Ahoy, mateys! Get ready to set sail for an afternoon of epic aquatic action at Pack 227’s upcoming Raingutter Regatta, on June 20th! We are calling all Cub Scouts across the Pacifica District to build your fastest vessels, catch the wind, and race down the gutters for glory. The fun isn’t just for the Scouts either—siblings and non-scouts are officially invited to compete for bragging rights in our thrilling Open Division. Bring your best sail-blowing technique, and join us for a splashing good time filled with friendly competition, awesome boats, and unforgettable memories!

Unit Pin Alert!
In the application process, the Boy Scouts of America state there are NO REFUNDS in the submittal process. Most don’t catch this statement. Please , please do not set your unit pin to “auto accept” online applications. Units need to have conversations with families prior to accepting the online applications. Thank you for all you do for your units and their youth.
