Liberty Tree Memorials
|
|
Scouts and Troops looking for the ultimate
service project will want to consider the Liberty Tree Memorial for their community. The Liberty Tree Memorial is offered
under the auspices of the Johnny Elmseed program
(originally offered only to Eagle Scouts).
In this project, a Scout or Troop finds community support to plant a
disease-resistant American Liberty Elm, erect a Memorial plaque in a special
public place and plan a public ceremonial event. The Memorial is symbolic of our country’s
founding and its freedoms.
|

|
Please request a Johnny Elmseed brochure
and application by calling or writing to Elm Research Institute.
