PACIFICA DISTRICT

BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA

The 2008 July 4th Parade is just around the corner

Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venture Crews

(Class A Uniform required)

Boy Scout Color Guard

Fifty Pacifica District Boy Scouts and Webelos will carry the Garrison American Flag.

Troop 1 will present the Freedom Flag.

Tiger Cub Float

We will have a float for Tiger Cubs and younger Cub Scouts.

Although the design is still being developed, we anticipate that this will accommodate 20 to 30 people.

Tiger Cubs are not allowed to march in the parade (there is an age restriction) but may ride on the float.

Contact D.J. Clarke – djclarke93@hotmail..com – for float decorating dates/times.

Cub Scout Marching Unit

This group will have about 50 Cub Scouts marching.

Each Pack is encouraged to bring their own Pack Flag.

(No Pack banners, please)

Award Banners and other needs

Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will carry the award banners for the winning entries.

We will need about 15 Scouts and 8 adult leaders for this part of the parade.
